Hey Guys, 

   Another awesome charity I wanted to shed a little light on is drumSTRONG. Their mission is to raise awareness and funds for cancer organizations globally through rhythm. This project is especially close to my heart as I have experienced losses from cancer and it is important to me to give my time and resources to help others beat cancer. There is one main event yearly that has an epic lineup of musicians from Jeff Sipe, Keller Williams, Mickey Hart to Jeff Coffin. I am proud to participate in this event and hope to see it grow larger each year!

In keeping with the theme of talking about charitable organizations,  I'm going to talk about another awesome organization, ByTheHand. These guys support inner city kids by giving them an after school program that encourages them to foster their talents and go to college.

Miraculous Love Kids

Hey guys, thanks for stopping by. I was trying to think of what to write in this blog section and want to take a minute to talk about the Miraculous Love Kids. What are the Miraculous Love Kids? Good question. The Miraculous Love Kids is a charitable project started by Lanny Cordola in with the premise that "it shouldn't hurt to be a child." Lanny believes that if a kid has a melody in their heart it can help them find hope in all things. Since 2014 he has produced and I have participated in the PEACE JAM to aid families and kids who live in poverty stricken areas and war zones, specifically in Pakistan and Afghanistan. For me, Miraculous Love Kids is a way to give back to humanity by helping families who really deserve it. Living in America has granted certain levels of peace, freedom and opportunity on a daily basis. I feel it is my duty to take what was freely given to me and spread it to those not in the same position. To someone who is suffering, the simple power of an instrument or a song can grant the opportunity to live a better quality of life. With all the chaos in the world right now I feel it is more important than ever to unite and inspire one another through the power of music.
